7th Heaven

 • Mackenzie didn't sign a full contract for the 11th season of 7th Heaven due to the shows enormous
 amount of money for production. She was the one of the only kids left along side Beverley Mitchell to be
 in every episode for 10 consecutive seasons.

 • Mackenzie brings her dog, Molly, with her to the set of 7th Heaven.

 • Her step sister, Katelyn, has cystic fibrosis. Mackenzie has had a chance to expose issues like cystic
 fibrosis, on 7th Heaven. There are two episodes in which her sister Katelyn guest stars as Ruthie's friend,
 one she has cystic fibrosis and then later on where she had a lung transplant.

 • Mackenzie appears in a K-Mart commerical with Beverley Mitchell and George Stults.

 • At the tender age of five, Mackenzie, caught the 7th Heaven casting director's eye because she was the
 most polite child to audition for the part. She walked in, shook everyone's hand and introduced herself and
 landed the role of Ruthie Camden.

 Personal

 • Mackenzie is a junior ambassador for Child Help INC. This is an organazation working for and with
 severly abused children.

 • Mackenzie is left-handed.

 • At 16, Mackenzie has 10 solid years of acting experience under her belt, more than many actors two or
 three times her age.

 • In the April 2006 issue of Teen People, Mackenzie was named in the 20 Teens Who Will Change the
 World special report.

 • Mackenzie and her family have Cherokee Indian roots.

 • Mackenzie said that she gets along with her step-sister Katelyn but her younger brother, Chandler, and
 her fight often.

 • She is a sports fanactic.

 • Mackenzie loves giving autographs.

 • She moved to L.A. at the age of 4.

 • Mackenzie is a competitive equestrian show jumper. She showed at the 2006 USEF Pony Finals in the
 pony jumper finals, her zone won the zone phase. Her jumper pony's name is Mentos Junior.

 • Mackenzie contributes her free time to animal charities.

 • Mackenzie resides in a ranch outside of L.A. with her mother Donna, step-dad Randy, younger brother
 Chandler, and older stepsister Katelyn.

 • Mackenzie has been casted in commercials for both Hormal Hotdogs and Nike.

 • Mackenzie was born the same month The Simpsons first aired. The show is the same age as her.

 • She has met LeAnn Rimes.

 •  Mackenzie appeared on Hollywood Squares, in April of 2003.
